Youth Council

Gravesham Youth Council

Have your voice heard locally and help make a difference in the community.

The youth council is made up of young people who live or go to school in the borough and meet regularly to discuss issues that are important to them, or the wider community.

The group talk to Gravesham Borough Council and other local organisations to give their feedback on plans for the borough.

Currently the youth council is working on an anti-bullying policy which they aim to roll-out to every school in Gravesham and get teachers to sign and support.

The youth council sometimes go on trips too. In the past they have been involved in exchange trips from our twin towns in Germany and France.
The youth council meet fortnightly here at The Grand in Gravesend town centre, between 4pm and 6pm.
